NOVEMBER 2015 UPDATE: The spokeswomen workshop is currently not meeting. We will resume this again either in the winter with snow specific topics or again in the spring with bikes. We had great participation during the summer, but as the weather has gotten cooler attendance has dropped off.
Don't worry, we'll bring it back!
Spokeswomen is a weekly shop night just for women. This is an opportunity for women to come in with their bikes, learn how to fix them, meet other women interested in riding, ask questions and socialize. There is no cost and no registration necessary.
Every Thursday from 5-7PM
Drop-in style, come at 5 or 6:30- it's up to you.
At our shop! 130 W Washington Street, downtown Marquette, in the Masonic Square Mall.
Open shop free to women. Use our tools, learning resources, knowledge and community. Evenings may or may not be topic based. You can also join the Facebook Spokeswomen group to ask questions and discuss topics for the next workshop.
We want women to get out and enjoy riding bikes. An integral part of that is having a bike that is in good working condition. This is also an opportunity for women to ask questions about biking within a group of other women. We can share tips, tricks, experiences and learn from each other.
